A combined Tap and Jazz dance class for boys and girls in school years 2 and 3, introducing children to the basics of these styles, exploring a variety of steps and travelling movements, and learning dances and combinations.
Tap is a lively, fun, dance style where children get to 'make music with their feet', and great for rhythm, timing and coordination.
Jazz dance encompasses a variety of styles from lyrical, to commercial, street and musical theatre, and is great for developing style, musicality, strength, and flexibility.
Both styles compliment each other really well and are wonderful for building performance skills, confidence and self-esteem, and encouraging each child to inject their unique personality into their dancing.
